Walter Wanderley is one of the artists most connected to Loronix and a great part of the little Loronix popularity can be credited to Walter Wanderley albums, he is an artist that everybody likes, has an unique way of playing and an amazing popularity in Brazil and United States. We have been tracking out of print Walter Wanderley LPs that were not released at Loronix and once in a while some friend take us by surprise.
I would like to say thanks to Moos, for this contribution. Moos make a nice work in the background and I have several Moos contributions waiting for their time to appear here. Thanks Moos for remembering Walter Wanderley.
This is Walter Wanderley - O Successo e Samba (1960), for Odeon. Moss said this is the original 1960 issue, it is amazing that he found this album in Europe, while I never saw it available on any fair or shop down here.
Self-explanatory release, Walter Wanderley albums are always on top of any statistics at Loronix. Moos also remember something very important; we do not have any Walter Wanderley video at Loronix. Actually, I never saw Walter Wanderley performing. If someone can make a dream come true, this is the one we are looking for, a video with Walter Wanderley.

Walter Wanderley never lets me down. Another great one!
Don't you wonder why he looks so sullen on the cover? I mean he looks like he is posing for a police picture!
