There was a plan for tonight, agreed with Caetano that could not be accomplished. Blame it on computer problems and a little bit of human and parrot mistakes in the process. That's why I decided to show you this early Luiz Bonfa LP, never made available before at Loronix. Additionally, I'm showing a video with Luiz Bonfa and Caterina Valente performing Manha de Carnaval, in my opinion, one of the greatest videos available at Loronix ever, making sure that everybody will have a chance to see it and also urge everybody to send any Luiz Bonfa videos. This video is awesome and I'm sure everybody wants to see more.

This is Luiz Bonfa - Amor!
The Fabulous Guitar of Luiz Bonfa (1958), for Atlantic, featuring Luiz Bonfa (guitar), Don Elliott (mellophone, vibraphone, triangle), Tommy Lopez (bongo, conga), and Ralph Freundlich (flute). Amor is from a period that I like most amongst Luiz Bonfa albums, the late 50's and a little bit of the early 60's. I don't need to say more, this release explains by itself and it is more than a replacement of the original plan.

Tracks include:

01 - Brasília
02 - I'll Remember April
03 - Lonely Lament
04 - Carnival
05 - George Back In Town
06 - Blue Madrid
07 - Island Of Trindade
08 - Old Times
09 - Marajó
10 - Indian Dance
11 - Nelly
12 - Preludio
13 - Yesterdays
14 - Bagpipes
15 - Arabesque

Hello, I just found this site a couple of days ago and I must say it is excellent. Any chance you could repost the Arthur Verocai album? I have been desperately looking for it since I heard Na Boca do Sol a while ago. Thanks.

Obrigado. Claudio Zancan (Santo Ângelo, RS)
